Dawnridge began from an existing site with a severe topography and a majestic oak tree. The project responds to the land by placing volumes to minimize impact and maximize natural light and views. The architecture is defined by warm, natural materials and a restrained palette that allow the landscape to take center stage.
A strong focus on material palette to influence our design process, architecture that fits the site, which reflects our intention, to create vibrant spaces with a calm presence. And there is an inherent belief in architecture that addresses the human experience in beautiful, meaningful, and purposeful ways. Seeing places and architecture as limitless resources to motivate us. A truth, which have been at the center of our work.
